PHY 315 - Computational Physics and Complexity Credits: 3 Corequisites: PHY 321 or MAT 361 . Introduction to numerial modeling techniques for solving problems in physics and complex systems. Numerial techniques will be applied to classical mechanics, bifurcation and dynamical systems, chaotic systems, thermodynamics, optimization, cellular automata, and self-organization. Satisfies University Studies V: Explorations Beyond the Classroom. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Information Literacy.
