Placement into this course is based on the Mathematics Placement Test or consent of instructor. Designed for students not ready for MAT 111, this course prepares the student to be successful in college algebra and beyond. Topics include study, note-taking, and time management skills needed to be successful in mathematics and review of algebra. One lecture and one laboratory hour each week.
