GGY 340 - Population, Resources, and the Environment

Prerequisite: GGY 130 , GGY 140  , GGY 180  or GGY 181  or, consent of instructor. Introduction to the four major driving forces of global change: demographic trends, natural resource use, climate change, and globalization. Explores the role of economic and cultural development and analyzes regional patterns that result in the unique manifestations of global change. Partially Satisfies University Studies III: Thematic Transdisciplinary Cluster/Climate Change and Society.
