Prerequisite CRM 105 . Study of the American juvenile justice system, including its origins and current developments. Topics include definition of juvenile delinquency, philosophy and procedures of the juvenile justice system, correctional treatment of juveniles, and prevention and intervention strategies. Partially satisfies University Studies III: Thematic Transdisciplinary Cluster/Child and Adolescent Studies.
