BIO 202 - Principles of Biology: Biodiversity Credits: 0 - 4 Evolution, classification, and diversity of life, stressing morphology, physiology, principles of adaptation, and relationships between biotic and abiotic components of ecosystems. Laboratory exercises introduce major taxonomic groups and biotic principles. Three lecture and three laboratory hours each week. Partially satisfies University Studies II: Approaches and Perspectives/Scientific Approaches to the Natural World. Partially Satisfies University Studies III: Thematic Transdisciplinary Cluster/Evolution. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Information Literacy.
