(HST 597) Prerequisite: HST 103, HST 290. Intensive study of selected themes and events in Asian history not regularly covered in other courses. Examples of topics include: The Chinese Revolution, Meiji Japan, Gandhian thought, nationalist movements. May be repeated under a different subtitle. Satisfies University Studies VI: Common Requirements/Capstone Course. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive.
