ENG 387 - History of Literary Criticism and Theory

Prerequisite: ENG 103  or ENG 201 . ENG 205  strongly recommended. A study of the major critical and theoretical statements that have been influential in how we think about literary texts, from the ancient Greeks to the postmodernists.
