Prerequisite: ENG 103 or ENG 201. ENG 204 or ENG 205 recommended but not required. A study of the short story and novella, with emphasis on the structural features and historical development of these genres. Works from one or more periods, writers, and traditions. May be repeated under a different subtitle.
