Prerequisites: COM 200 with a B or better and COM 258 or COM 265 or consent of instructor. Restricted to COM majors and journalism minors. Explorations into the relationships between media consumption/production and rhetorical strategies and/or mass communication theories with emphasis on the influences of media institutions, politics, and historical and contemporary trends.
