BIO 190 - Microbes and Human Society Credits: 3 Introduction to the world of the microorganism, focusing on the diversity, structure and function of microbial life, the spread and control of disease-producing organisms, and the impact of these life forms on human culture, history, and civilization. Three lecture hours each week. Partially satisfies University Studies II: Approaches and Perspectives/Scientific Approaches to the Natural World.
