ANT 308 - Old World Archaeology Credits: 3 Prerequisite: ANT 105 or ANT 207 or consent of instructor. Studies the interplay of early state-level civilizations in the Old World, with emphasis on Mesopotamia, Egypt, and the Indus Valley. Other topics include nomads, invaders, and the collapse of state-level societies. Lecture and discussion. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive.
