NSG 316 - Expanding Roles in Professional Nursing PracticeCredits: 5 Prerequisite: Admission to the School of Nursing. A seminar course for registered nurses that examines contemporary issues in professional nursing practice. Introduces students to the online environment and provides strategies for success throughout the nursing curriculum. Students will explore issues related to registered nurses returning to school for professional education. Upon successful completion of the course, the student receives 35-semester hours credit in lieu of transfer nursing credit from the student’s basic nursing education program.
