MAT 243 - Concepts and Applications of Discrete Mathematics

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: MAT 142 ; MAT 151  or MAT 161 . Open only to majors or pre-majors in elementary, middle school, special, or health and physical education. Introduction to discrete mathematics. Includes graph theory; matrix operations and applications; linear programming; iterative and recursive techniques; counting techniques; series and sequences; equivalence relations; calculator-based programming. Interdisciplinary applications include social sciences, industry, and networks.
