(GGY 524) Prerequisite: GGY 328. Advanced theory and application of the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial data collection, data structures, data management and relational databases, spatial analysis, and display of geographic information in a computer-based environment. Lectures, demonstrations, and lab exercises. Students work individually or in small groups to lean GIS software. Two lecture and four laboratory hours each week.
