(GER 385) Prerequisite: FST major or permission of instructor. Analysis of films from the “Golden Age” of the Weimar Republic, the Third Reich, the New Wave, East German films, and current German and Austrian cinema. Works by Lang, Riefenstahl, Wenders, Reitz, Fassbinder, von Trotta, and recent films.
