Prerequisite: A grade of B+ or better in FST 200. Corequisite: FST 201. Survey of key tendencies in international cinema from the silent era to the present day. Case studies include films from Europe, the Soviet Union, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, examined within their historical contexts.
