Prerequisite: Appropriate departmental placement test score. Review of the fundamental structure of the language. Aural-oral practice to attain basic active reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. For students with at least 2 high schoo units of French. Partially satisfies University Studies I: Foundations/Foreign Language.
