COM 368 - Broadcast Journalism II

Credits: 3
Prerequisite: A grade of ‘B’ or above in COM 200 , and COM 268  or COM 280  and COM 380 . Restricted to COM majors. Emphasis on long-form/feature reporting. Technical training in the operation of news gathering equipment; refinement of news gathering techniques; news writing; presentation and delivery skills; analysis and discussion of journalistic ethics, theories and cases; and a survey of important issues and cases in broadcast journalism.
