CLA 330 - Women in Ancient Greece and RomeCredits: 3 Prerequisite: Sophomore standing. Women in ancient Greece and Rome through documentary, artistic and literary sources. Women’s economy and community, medical issues, slavery, religion, construction of gender roles, and images of heroines in literature and the arts. Partially satisfies University Studies II: Approaches and Perspectives/Historical and Philosophical Approaches. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Writing Intensive.
