The Department of Geography and Geology offers majors in geography and geology which prepare the student for advanced studies or for teaching, research, and technical careers available to one who holds the baccalaureate degree. In addition, the department offers minors in geography, geology and oceanography, and a certificate in geographic information science (GIS).
