Program Coordinator, Regina R. Felix
The Portuguese/Brazilian Studies minor educates students with a wide-ranging knowledge of the Portuguese-speaking societies by providing proficiency in the Portuguese language and the history, geography, politics, current events, and the arts of nations across four continents. The minor makes students ready to pursue professional life in the Portuguese-speaking Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Asia, in addition to working with the Luso-Brazilian populations living in the United States, and/or teaching about the Portuguese-speaking World. Students should contact the Portuguese/Brazilian Studies coordinator in the Department of World Languages and Cultures for additional information.
