Students earning a minor in Theatre take classes ranging from design to performance to playscript analysis and have the opportunity to further explore their own interests in theatre-making on and off stage.

Admission Requirements

Current UNCW Undergraduate Students

Requirements for a Minor in Theatre

Core Courses (10 Credit Hours)

History or Literature Course (3 Credit Hours)

Design Course (3 Credit Hours)

295-400 Level Course (3 Credit Hours)

  • 3 hours of theatre courses at the 295-400 level.

Total Credit Hours: 19

Additional Information

A “C” (2.00) is required in each course counted toward the minor.
