The Environmental Sciences minor emphasizes broad and comprehensive training in the physical, biological and social sciences directly related to the investigation of environmental issues. This training is for students who want to acquire an in-depth understanding of the interactions between humans and the environment and who wish to contribute to the solution of environmental problems.

Requirements for a Minor in Environmental Sciences:
A minor in environmental sciences requires a total of 24 credit hours with a minimum overall quality point average of “C” (2.00) in courses counted toward the minor. A maximum of 12 credit hours counted toward a student’s major will be counted toward completion of core and/or elective minor requirements in environmental sciences. Students selecting the environmental sciences minor are strongly encouraged to meet with an environmental sciences coordinator to determine a specific course of study. Core Courses (15 Credit Hours)

Select at least 9 additional hours of EVS courses numbered 300-400 not taken as part of the Core Requirements. |
