Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minor

The Minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation prepares non-business students to engage in entrepreneurial activities related to their major.

The minor in entrepreneurship and innovation prepares non-business students to engage in entrepreneurial activities related to their major.

The minor in entrepreneurship and innovation requires 18 credit hours of study. Admission to the minor requires achieving a grade of ‘C’ or higher in EBD 280 . The minor is open to all students outside the Cameron School of Business. Business majors, with the exception of students pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics, are not eligible for the minor.

In the case of restricted classes, approval must be secured by the appropriate Department Chair. Students may choose any of the optional courses to meet the 6 hours; however students are encouraged to choose courses that constitute a focus, e.g. entrepreneurship in the Arts, in Science, in Technology as examples. Students should confer with academic advisors when determining a cluster of the three courses. Students must earn a C- or above in all classes in the minor.
