Requirements for a Minor in Theatre:

• THR 110 - Introduction to Theatre Technology
• THR 165 - Playscript Analysis for Production
• THR 242 - Production Studio I

• One of:

• THR 130 - Improvisation or
• THR 230 - Acting For Non-Majors

•  

• One History or Literature course:

• THR 321 - A Social History of Western Theatre I or
• THR 322 - A Social History of Western Theatre II  or
• THR 368 - Contemporary British and Irish Dramatic Literature or
• THR 369 - The American Canon: Seminar in Dramatic Literature or
• THR 370 - Theories of Theatre and Performance

•  

• One Design course:

• THR 125 - Introduction to Design or
• THR 305 - Scene Design I or
• THR 306 - Light Design I or
• THR 308 - Costume Design I or
• THR 310 - Sound Design I

•  

• 3 hours of theatre courses at the 295-400 level.

Additional Information:

A “C” (2.00) is required in each course counted toward the minor.
