Cybersecurity (CAS), B.S.

The B.S. in Cybersecurity was created jointly by faculty from the Congdon School of Supply Chain, Business Analytics and Information Systems within the Cameron School of Business and faculty from the Department of Computer Science within the College of Arts & Sciences.  As such, it draws upon expertise of both information systems and computer science.  

The major is targeted to students interested in courses that highlight computer, network, and information security.

Student’s pursuing the cybersecurity program of study will learn computing-based foundations, crosscutting concepts that are broadly applicable across the range of cybersecurity specializations, knowledge containing essential cybersecurity skills, and ethical and professional responsibilities associated with the field.  

Students should contact the program coordinator for additional information.

Requirements for the B.S. in Cybersecurity:


Oral Communication Requirement:


To satisfy the oral communication requirement for the B.S. degree in Cybersecurity a student must successfully complete MIS 322 .

Applied Cybersecurity Concentration (21 hours):
