Oral Communication Requirement:
To satisfy the oral communication requirement for the B.S. degree in Coastal Engineering, a student must successfully complete EGN 495 and EGN 496.
Applied Learning Requirement:
To satisfy the applied learning requirement for the B.S. degree in Coastal Engineering, a student must successfully complete EGN 496.
Requirements for a Major in Coastal Engineering for the B.S. Degree:

12 hours, of which 9 hours must be at the 300 level or higher:
Additional Information:
Students must attain a grade point average of “C” (2.00) or better computed overall the courses used to fulfill the requirements of the major, and a grade of “C-” or better for each EGN course used to fill the requirements of the major.
Note:
Students interested in the B.S. degree in Coastal Engineering are strongly advised to take the MAT 161 and EGN 101 in the fall of the freshman year.
