The College of Arts and Science offers an interdisciplinary minor in science, the humanities and society (SHS) that offers the student an appreciation of complex scientific, technological and societal problems and achievements within a philosophical and historical context. Students augment core requirements with courses chosen from anthropology, biology, chemistry, economics, environmental studies, geography, history, philosophy, physics, psychology and sociology.
