The Department of Art and Art History cultivates aesthetic decision-making through creative problem solving and critical thinking. Through its study, students deepen their understanding of the vital role visual arts play in the human experience.

The department offers degrees in studio art, digital arts, and art history. Through a diverse range of courses and experiential learning opportunities, students explore the creation of art and its cultural, historical, and contemporary implications.
