STT 455 - Statistical AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)

Explores applied and conceptual Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs), grounded in statistical foundations. Covers core concepts including transformers and benchmarked deep learning architectures. Provides practical experience with real-world applications through hands-on projects using AI tools and pre-trained models, bridging theory with practice in modern AI.

Prerequisite Courses: STT450, or DSC301 and any introductory statistics course (STT 215 or STT 210 or STT 301 or PSY 225 or BAN 280), or Instructor Approval.
