ANT 369  -  Barbarians from the Steppe: Early Central Eurasia


Investigates the “barbarians” of the Eurasian Steppe and their influence on their sedentary neighbors from 2000 BCE until 100 CE through the lenses of anthropology and history. These people were immensely powerful due to their mastery of the horse and their control of the Silk Road.
