ANT 302  -  African Archaeology: From Foraging to Farming


Examination of Africa’s geography and its role in human evolution, with a focus on Pleistocene and Holocene environmental impacts on cultural development. Key topics include foraging in archaeology, transitions to agriculture, rock art, animal husbandry, and current debates on the shift from foraging to farming.
