BIOL 313  -  Marine Phycology Laboratory

Introduction to phycological sampling techniques and data analysis. Experience in field sampling and laboratory approaches to illustrate morphology, life histories, and ecology of benthic marine algae with emphasis on special topics such as morphogenesis, ecotypic variation and speciation, phytogeography, or seasonal periodicity of growth and reproduction. This course is the lab for BIO 313.

Corequisite Courses: BIO 313
Prerequisite Courses: BIO 362 or BIO 366
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
