RSP 351 - Clinical Practice I

This course provides supervised entry-level clinical experience via assigned medical facilities. Emphasis is placed on assessment, therapeutic techniques, non-invasive procedures, diagnostics and communication strategies within the scope of practice for respiratory care. Upon completion students should be able to demonstrate, through required performance evaluations, clinical competence and novice proficiency of patient care in an inter-professional setting.

Prerequisite or Corequisite Courses: RSP 300 with a C or better, RSP 330 with a C or better, RSP 301 with a C or better, RSP 302 with a C or better, RSP 303 with a C or better.
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Restricted to RSP majors only.
