MSA 522 - Accounting Analytics and Business Database Systems

Course Description: This class focuses on accounting analytics and fundamental database and querying skills associated with data analytics. Conceptual foundations, such as relational database structure, data normalization, and data querying (via Structured Query Language), are emphasized. Students will be able to analyze accounting datasets with SQL and other data analytics tools to arrive at empirically valid conclusions and recommendations.
