NSG 304 - Introduction to Professional Nursing This course introduces the student to the core concepts of professional nursing. Course content includes nursing history, theory and an introduction to American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, legal standards of the nursing scope of practice through regulatory bodies and evolving issues in the profession. Students will learn the quality safety standards education for nurses and the standards for interprofessional collaboration.
Credit Hours: 3
