ARH 384 - History of Graphic Design Examines the evolution of graphic design from prehistory through postmodern design and the digital revolution. Explores the history of visual communication as developed by ancient cultures through the present day with an emphasis on commercial design, illustration, typographic development and technological invention.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: ARH 201 or ARH 202 or ARH 204 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Consent of Instructor can be given in place of prerequisites. Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
