PHY 498 - Internship in Physics

Practical experience and academic training in the student’s principal area of interest. Joint supervision and evaluation by a physics faculty member and an on-site supervisor.

Credit Hours: 1 To 3

Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Junior or senior standing, overall GPA of at least 2.50 and a GPA in PHY courses of at least 2.80. Students must be pre-approved by the faculty supervisor, department chair and dean.
Course Repeatability: Course may be repeated. Maximum Repeatable Hours: 3
