ARH 311 - Contemporary Art

Broad survey of contemporary art from 1960 to the present. Western (American, European) art will be considered alongside art from other regions of the world such as Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Special emphasis will be placed on the relationship between contemporary art and the social contexts and changes that mark this period.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: ARH 201 or ARH 202 or ARH 204
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Consent of instructor can be given in place of prerequisites.
