ARH 306 - Baroque & Rococo Art Study of the aesthetic, social, and political dimensions of Baroque and Rococo art from its origins in Europe through its diffusion into the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Focus on visual and material culture characterized by the expanding trade networks, colonization, technological innovations, and religious reform of the global Baroque period.
Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite Courses: ARH 201 or ARH 202 or ARH 204 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Consent of instructor can be given in place of prerequisites. University Studies: Approaches and Perspectives/Living in a Global Society Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
