CYBR 432 - SOC Operations Introduction to security operations centers (SOC). Study of processes used for operations such as incident response, vulnerability assessment, and threat investigation. Introduction to software tools to manage SOC activities such as security information and event management (SIEM) systems, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
Prerequisite Courses: CYBR 202 , CYBR 365 and CYBR 366 Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Admission to Cameron School of Business or declared Cybersecurity major or declared Information Technology major or declared Cybersecurity minor Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
