ENG 231  -  Theory and Practice of Hip-Hop

A study of the theory and practice of hip-hop culture, with an emphasis on the four elements: turntablism, rap, graffiti, and dance. Students will be introduced to representative figures, periods, themes, and texts.

Credit Hours: 3
