COM 268 - Principles of Multimedia Journalism

Concepts, principles and basic skills in writing and producing news content for multiple media platforms; including radio, television, and internet-based outlets. Emphasis on news gathering, story construction and effective storytelling, proper formatting and scriptwriting techniques, and responding effectively to news problems and potentials.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: ENG 103 or ENG 201 or permission of instructor.
Additional Restrictions/Requirements: Restricted to PCOM and COM majors, or journalism minors.
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
