EXS 314 - Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Legal Concepts in the Health and Fitness Industry Introduction to legal aspects of amateur sport and physical activity emphasizing knowledge required of the exercise science and sport professional. Focus upon current terminology, legal procedures and operations, and case studies. Furthermore, this course will focus upon managerial theories and its applications in exercisescience and allied-health organizations. Specific topics include organizational theories, communication, leadership, motivation, managerial skills, functions of management, issues of policies, marketing, and financial aspects of management.
Credit Hours: 3
