ATR 540 - Spine, Posture, and Movement Assessment Course Description: This course involves a systematic examination of the fundamental principles and concepts of Athletic Training as it relates to the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of the head, neck and spine. Furthermore, this course will encompass the identification and application of spine, posture, and movement assessment tools currently available within the field of athletic training. This course has been designed with the NASM - Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification embedded within the curriculum so that the students can broaden their scope of knowledge and practice, and to introduce them to the varying types of post-graduate continuing education courses available. This course is a combination of lecture and laboratory.

Corequisite Courses: ATR 504, ATR 550, ATR 555 Prerequisite Courses: ATR 502 (min grade S) and ATR 525 (min grade B-) and ATR 535 (min grade B-) and ATR 590 (min grade B-) Additional Restrictions/ Requirements: None Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated
