SOC 524 - Social Stratification Course Description: Examination of social and economic inequalities based on social class and status as basic dimensions of individual life chances as well as of the structure and dynamics of societies and the world system. Reviews current state of the field in regard to academic and policy debates, theories, methods, crucial research findings, as well as comparative analyses.
