CSC 551 - Software Assurance

Course Description: Introduction to quality assurance, reliability, and security in software engineering. Topics include quality and security requirements and specifications; manual and automated code inspections; techniques for static and dynamic analysis of software; software metrics; advanced testing techniques; and reliability growth modeling. Emphasis on software security engineering including threat modeling, secure design principles, and secure development processes.
