SPN 557 - Advanced Theory and Practice in Teaching Spanish (K-12) Course Description: Focus on the connection between theory and practice in teaching Spanish with emphasis on the role of inquiry in informing instruction. Opportunities to design and implement lessons in Spanish using a variety of instructional strategies that meet curriculum objectives, as well as address the needs of diverse learners. Reflection and self-analysis are emphasized throughout the course. Field experiences required (30 contact hours).
