CMR 547 - National and International Security Course Description: The course will examine National and International Security and identify the concerns and perspectives that drive contending views of security policy. It will introduce students to the field of security studies within the context of Peace, War and Defense (PWAD) as it has evolved since its inception following World War ll and will explore some of the critical events and issues that form the background of 9/11. With the intent of considering strategies for enhancing National and International Security, this course investigates pressing, critical security threats and issues and focuses on the security problems and potential solutions.
