EGN 310 - Fluid Mechanics for Engineers


Fluid mechanics uses knowledge from mathematics, physics, statics, and dynamics to analyze problems involving the fluid medium. Topics include fluid properties, hydrostatic pressure, pressure on surfaces, conservative equations of mass, momentum and energy, pumps and turbines, open channel flows, and pipe flows in relation to real world engineering problems.

Credit Hours: 3

Prerequisite Courses: MAT 361  and EGN 201 .
Course Repeatability: Course may not be repeated.
